Job Summary: The Project Analyst will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and closing projects, working with researchers and managing technical and financial aspects. Focus on excellence and innovation **Who We Are:** For 50 years, Fundep has been the support foundation of UFMG, responsible for managing research, teaching, extension, and institutional development projects. Authorized also to support other science and technology institutions across the country, Fundep serves as a bridge connecting diverse actors in the S\&T and innovation landscape. **Responsibilities and Duties** As a **Project Analyst**, you will be responsible for: * Participating in meetings with the Project Negotiation Department to plan project implementation together with the Researcher; * Planning the project regarding schedule, budget, procurement, and personnel payments, jointly with the Coordination team; * Implementing projects; * Providing technical user training to the Researcher and their team to enable them to operate the system; * Monitoring activities planned for each project; * Contacting Researchers via phone calls, e-mails, or meetings; * Managing project closure through the predefined closure workflow, resolving pending issues, and liaising with other departments; * Preparing responses to funding agencies’ inquiries, via official letters and technical and documentary analysis; * Analyzing contracts and payments through documentation review, verifying approvals, processing requests, and forwarding them to the responsible area; * Analyzing purchase requests, monitoring those executed, and resolving pending ones. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Processes, Law, or related fields; * Experience as a Project Analyst; * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Basic knowledge of Labor Legislation; * Experience in budgetary analysis processes; * Familiarity with performance indicators; * Knowledge of Project Management tools and techniques. **Desirable:** * Knowledge of Compliance; * Knowledge of the Third Sector; * Knowledge of Funding Agencies’ regulations. **Additional Information** Benefits and Perks: * Free parking or transportation allowance aligned with individual needs; * Meal allowance/food voucher — including during vacation periods; * Breakfast and afternoon snack; * Collective life insurance and personal accident insurance; * Medical and hospital assistance; * Extended paternity leave; * Day-Off: one day off granted as a birthday benefit; * Partnership with Drogaria Araújo pharmacy chain; * Membership in UFMG’s CEU Club; * Discounts on UFMG’s extension courses.
