Interface coordination with public agencies and clients **Job Description:** The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and controlling pavement construction projects, ensuring technical quality, timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with applicable regulations. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise asphalt and/or concrete pavement construction projects; * Develop, analyze, and monitor road infrastructure projects; * Monitor physical and financial project schedules; * Review measurements, technical reports, and site diaries; * Ensure execution in accordance with design documents, technical standards (DNIT, ABNT), and contractual specifications; * Coordinate field teams, machinery, and suppliers; * Perform technological control of materials (soil, crushed stone, CBUQ, concrete, etc.); * Interface with public agencies, regulatory bodies, and clients; * Support preparation of budgets, technical proposals, and tenders, as required. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; * Active registration with CREA; * Proven experience in pavement construction projects; * Knowledge of asphalt pavement, earthworks, and drainage; * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings; * Willingness to travel and work on-site. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Pavement Engineering or Road Infrastructure; * Experience in public works projects; * Familiarity with DNIT standards and administrative contracts; * Proficiency in technical software (AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, etc.). **Desired Competencies:** * Leadership and team management; * Decision-making ability; * Organization and planning skills; * Strong communication skills and professional demeanor; * Results-oriented mindset with focus on quality.
