Collaboration with operational departments to foster a safety culture Occupational Safety Engineer – Industry (Contagem/MG) Perfil RH is hiring for a medium-sized industry located in Contagem/MG. Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and monitor occupational safety policies, programs, and procedures; * Ensure compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards (NRs), focusing on accident prevention and risk mitigation; * Conduct risk assessments, technical inspections, and internal audits, proposing continuous process improvements; * Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing technical reports and action plans; * Manage and track departmental performance indicators (e.g., frequency rate, severity rate, absenteeism); * Coordinate mandatory legal programs such as PGR, PCMSO, LTCAT, and other regulatory requirements; * Collaborate with operational departments to promote a safety culture and raise employee awareness; * Manage mandatory training (NRs) and prevention campaigns; * Support external inspections, audits, and regulatory proceedings; * Support sustainability initiatives, occupational health, and ESG best practices. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with active registration at CREA; * Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering; * Proven experience in the field, preferably within an industrial environment; * Solid knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs); * Experience managing legal programs and audits; * Proficiency in performance indicators and data analysis; * Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint); * Experience with management systems (ERP or occupational safety software) is desirable; * Valid driver's license and availability for on-site work in Contagem/MG; * Willingness to travel as required by operational needs.
