In practice, you’ll be responsible for administering, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure environments—ensuring availability, performance, and security—while also supporting clients in evolving their technology environments. **Proficiency in English is required for this position!** **Here’s what you’ll get:** * Remote work; * Flexible benefits of BRL 1,200/month; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Gympass; * Viva Psychology; * Conexa (telemedicine); * Profit-sharing program (PLR); * Equity Program (Phantom Shares); * SESC membership; * Partnerships for learning new languages; * Development-oriented culture (1:1 meetings, feedback, Personal Development Plans); * Access to cutting-edge technologies; * A purpose-driven team; * A customer-centric and innovative culture; * An exceptional work environment. **Responsibilities:** * Implement and administer Linux operating systems (SUSE, RHEL, Oracle Linux). * Manage server virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and Microsoft Hyper‑V), including: Provisioning, tuning, and troubleshooting VMs; configuring HA/DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, templates, and datastores. * Implement, operate, and maintain storage systems (block/file/object) and SAN (zoning, LUNs, multipath, HBA, iSCSI/FC), ensuring performance, resilience, and data security. * Manage server and storage infrastructure capacity. * Automate tasks using Shell Script—and preferably Ansible and Terraform. * Plan, implement, and sustain infrastructure solutions (on-premises and hybrid), including upgrades, migrations, patches, and automations. * Create and maintain technical documentation (diagrams, procedures, runbooks) and operational knowledge bases (KBs). * Resolve critical incidents, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive actions. * Perform routine performance monitoring and integrity checks (health checks) across the environment. * Handle incident queues and service requests. * Improve server infrastructure. * Administer containers on OpenShift and AKS. * Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure high-quality, predictable delivery. **Requirements:** * Solid production experience administering Linux. * Advanced English (able to lead technical calls and interpret complex documentation). * Practical experience with Linux clusters (e.g., Pacemaker). * Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter (HA, DRS, vMotion, storage integrations). * Experience with Microsoft Hyper‑V (failover cluster, Live Migration, VMM). * Enterprise-grade storage systems (NetApp/DELL/Pure/IBM/etc.) and SAN (FC/iSCSI, zoning, LUNs, multipath). * Hands-on experience implementing projects and providing ongoing support (including 24x7 operations via shift/on-call rotation, where applicable). * Solid understanding of foundational infrastructure components (VLAN, DNS, NTP, DHCP). * Experience developing scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, etc.). * Familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management). **Nice-to-have qualifications:** * Cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP) * Terraform (infrastructure-as-code) and CI/CD for infrastructure. * Certifications such as Linux, VMware VCP, or Cloud (e.g., AZ‑104\).
