**Job Title: Billing Assistant** **Job Mission** Ensure accurate issuance, verification, and control of tax and financial documents, guaranteeing legal compliance, data accuracy, and efficient support to the company's billing operations. **Key Responsibilities**
* Issue tax invoices (NF-e, NFS-e, CT-e, where applicable) according to orders, contracts, and current legislation
* Verify tax, fiscal, and registration data prior to invoice issuance
* Perform cancellations, corrections, and correction letters as required
* Support daily, monthly, and period-end billing control activities
* Verify sales orders, service orders, and transportation documents
* Assist in reconciling billing, finance, and accounting records
* Organize and archive physical and digital tax documents
* Support internal and external audits, as well as tax inspections
* Collaborate with logistics, commercial, finance, and accounting departments
* Ensure adherence to internal deadlines and policies
**Technical Requirements**
* Completed high school education (technical or higher education in Administration, Accounting, or related fields is preferred)
* Basic knowledge of billing processes and tax documents
* Familiarity with taxes (ICMS, IPI, ISS, PIS, COFINS – as applicable to the company's activities)
* Experience with ERP systems
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially basic to intermediate Excel
