Preparation and analysis of financial statements A company in the **hydropower** sector is seeking an **Accounting Coordinator** to oversee accounting activities, ensuring legal compliance, financial information quality, and strategic support to operations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate and supervise the company's accounting routines. * Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closings. * Guarantee compliance with accounting standards (CPC, IFRS) and applicable legislation. * Monitor and guide the accounting team. * Interface with external auditors. * Prepare and analyze financial statements. * Provide accounting support to finance, tax, and controller areas. * Address regulatory requirements of the electricity sector. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in **Accounting Sciences.** * Active CRC registration. * Solid experience in accounting and accounting closing. * Experience in team coordination or leadership. * Knowledge of Brazilian and international accounting standards. * Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with regulated companies. * Knowledge of the energy sector (ANEEL). * Experience in auditing and compliance. * Postgraduate degree or MBA in accounting, finance, or controller areas. * Familiarity with the Protheus integrated system. * Experience in recurring audit environments. **Additional Information** **Job Details:** Location: Belo Horizonte/MG 100% On-site **Benefits:** * Meal or food allowance; * Bradesco health insurance; * Dental plan; * Life insurance; * Profit-sharing program; * +20% vacation bonus beyond statutory entitlement.
