**Responsibilities and Duties*** Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team on matters related to the Medical Clinic’s nursing services, presenting and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to support decision-making and continuous improvement of departmental processes;
* Provide direct and/or indirect care to surgical patients;
* Supervise nursing team services, develop routines, delegate tasks, and monitor workflow processes;
* Perform administrative routines related to patient care;
* Perform administrative routines related to human resource management within the Surgical Clinic team: scheduling, time tracking, and other relevant matters;
* Plan nursing interventions and evaluate outcomes to continuously improve service quality;
* Supervise, guide, and evaluate the nursing team on both clinical and administrative aspects;
* Monitor and perform routines related to notifiable diseases;
* Monitor and perform routines related to healthcare-associated infection control;
* Implement precautionary and isolation measures;
* Routinely and frequently provide patients and their families with information regarding diagnosis and treatment, as needed;
* Refer patients to the healthcare network whenever necessary to ensure continuity of care;
* Participate in developing the Nursing Care Systematization (SAE) guidelines;
* Adhere to ethical principles throughout all activities;
* Participate in collegiate bodies upon request, contributing to discussions and addressing presented issues;
* Assist in collecting data, monitoring, and meeting indicators and targets defined in departmental action plans;
* Fulfill institutional requests to serve as Preceptor, Tutor, Instructor, and/or Coordinator in educational activities;
* Participate, alongside the multidisciplinary team, in meetings, committees, health surveillance programs, biosafety, hospital epidemiology, and accident prevention initiatives, contributing as required within one’s scope of competence;
* Support hospital coordinators on matters inherent to one’s area of expertise, presenting and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to support decision-making and continuous improvement of departmental processes;
\- Participate in developing and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), applying them daily;
* Participate in or facilitate Permanent Education activities as required, per institutional policy, within one’s scope of practice;
* Ensure proper maintenance of materials and equipment under one’s responsibility to extend their useful life;
\- Perform duties observing occupational safety requirements, correctly using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) across all activities, complying with current legislation and institutional norms;
* Support one’s immediate supervisor on matters inherent to one’s area of expertise, presenting and discussing solutions to problems and irregularities to support decision-making and continuous improvement of departmental processes;
* Perform other related tasks of equivalent complexity upon request from one’s immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
1\- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Nursing;
2\- Minimum documented experience of 4 (four) months as a Nurse in a general hospital ward.
**Additional Information**
Work schedule: 07:00–13:00 with up to 3 daytime weekend shifts **OR** 13:00–19:00 with up to 3 daytime weekend shifts **OR** 12x60 nighttime shifts with up to 3 daytime weekend shifts;
Monthly salary for 160 hours (32 hrs/week): R$ 4\.407,10 **OR** for 180 hours (36 hrs/week): R$ 4\.957,80;

NOTE: This selection process applies to two distinct positions: Nurse - Clinical Inpatient Unit and Nurse - Surgical Inpatient Unit, resulting in separate rankings. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, professionals may transfer to another unit (as a nurse), following HMDCC’s internal personnel movement policies.

#### **Our Infrastructure**
The Hospital Metropolitano Dr. Célio de Castro (HMDCC) occupies a built area of 46\.000 m², with 13 floors and a helipad. It has 460 beds, including 80 ICU beds, and 16 operating rooms.
HMDCC specializes in urgent and emergency clinical, surgical, and stroke care, with referrals coordinated and regulated by Belo Horizonte Municipal Health Secretariat’s Inpatient Central.
We are also a reference for the SUS-BH and Minas Gerais networks for high-complexity care in the following specialties: internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, neurology, and urology.
Annually, we conduct over 16,000 admissions, 8,000 surgeries, 100,000 imaging exams, and 820,000 laboratory tests.
