**Job Description**
A company specializing in calibration and qualification of medical laboratory equipment is seeking a **Metrology Coordinator** to oversee calibration and qualification activities, ensuring compliance with technical standards, quality requirements, and operational deadlines.
The professional will be responsible for coordinating the technical team, supervising metrological processes, and ensuring result reliability both in the laboratory and during on-site services.
**Responsibilities**
Coordinate calibration activities for measuring instruments (Thermal, Chemical, Mass, Specific Volume, Time)
Supervise and validate thermal qualification processes for equipment
Validate calibration certificates and thermal qualification reports in accordance with current standards
Manage the technical team (task allocation, performance monitoring, and development)
Ensure traceability of reference standards used
Ensure timely delivery and quality of services performed
Engage in technical client relations
Support internal and external audits
Implement and monitor quality management system processes
Support laboratory equipment and standard organization and control
**Requirements**
Technical or higher education degree in Metrology, Engineering, Electronics, Electrotechnics, or related fields
Solid experience in instrument calibration
Experience in thermal qualification of equipment
Experience in technical team management or leadership
Knowledge of quality standards
Willingness to travel
Valid Brazilian driver's license (Category B)
**Preferred Qualifications**
Experience in an accredited laboratory
Knowledge of measurement uncertainty calculation
Familiarity with quality management systems
Knowledge of the Metroex system
