Located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006, Inhotim is a nonprofit organization sustained by ticket revenue, event production, and donations from individuals and legal entities — either directly or through Federal and State Cultural Incentive Laws. Within this context, the **Education and Territory Program** develops initiatives targeting diverse audiences, engaging daily with public and private education networks across Minas Gerais, universities, residents of Brumadinho, and the museum’s daily visitors. Educational actions and programming emphasize creation, experimentation, and continuous professional development, encouraging youth and adult agency and fostering knowledge construction around the relationships between **contemporary art and nature**. Learning from audiences and experiencing the museum as a space of encounter — where diverse people, ideas, and cultural practices can dialogue — are guiding principles of Inhotim’s Education Program. Recognizing the power of knowing, being, living, and acting in society guides its strategies. **Responsibilities and Duties** **This person will be responsible for:** **Implementation of Education and Territory Projects**: * Implement education and audience development projects aimed at engagement, participation, relationship-building, integration, inclusion, and training of Inhotim Institute’s diverse audiences; * Plan and conduct inclusive educational visits; * Plan and conduct activities for all museum audiences; * Research and develop mediation materials, tools, and strategies tailored to diverse museum audiences; * Conduct research to support Education and Audience Development Project activities. **Departmental Processes**: * Participate in Inhotim’s Education and Audience Development Projects to promote accessibility, democratization, and outreach aligned with departmental guidelines; * Propose activities within the scope and objectives of projects under their thematic axis; * Provide leadership with information and data to monitor project progress; * Conduct research to meet needs identified during project implementation; * Conduct visits for diverse institutional audiences according to departmental planning; * Participate in professional development processes as scheduled by the department. **Participation in Institutional Processes**: * Represent the institution regarding project implementation within their thematic axis; * Contribute to institutional indicator management and monitoring. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Candidate Profile**: * Completed undergraduate degree in Arts, Art History, Natural Sciences, Education, Museology, Philosophy, History, or related fields; * Prior experience in education/cultural mediation (museums, cultural centers, botanical gardens) is desirable; * Knowledge of or interest in art and nature, and contemporary education issues; * Basic understanding of accessibility in cultural spaces; * Proficiency in a second language is required; * Excellent interpersonal skills. **Additional Information** **About the Position**: * CLT employment regime; * Health insurance, dental plan, chartered transportation, commuter allowance, meals at the workplace, Culture Voucher, Wellhub, and life insurance; * **Availability on weekends and holidays required.** #### **Inhotim** Inhotim is a Museum of Contemporary Art and Botanical Garden, located in Brumadinho (MG) since 2006\.
