




Job Summary: D'GRANEL's Occupational Safety Technician is responsible for inspection, prevention, and enforcement of occupational safety standards, conducting training, and overseeing the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Join us too! **Opportunity:** Occupational Safety Technician **Summary of Responsibilities:** Ensure that D'GRANEL's facilities and equipment comply with occupational safety regulations; verify and enhance employee training programs, supervise PPE usage, and ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety legislation. **Responsibilities:** * Record workplace accidents, specifying time, severity, and other relevant data in dedicated internal forms; * Propose accident prevention measures to D'GRANEL's management and inform them of potential risk conditions, so appropriate actions can be taken to eliminate/minimize accidents; * Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, particularly the PPRA (Program for Prevention of Environmental Hazards) and PCMSO; * Inspect the company's production areas to identify risk conditions and verify proper PPE usage by workers; * Conduct periodic inspections of all fire extinguishers in the company and request replacement or recharging from the responsible department when necessary; * Guide workers regarding existing risks in their work areas; * Conduct occupational safety training; * Promote the development of informative safety notices and forward them to the responsible department for dissemination; * Investigate workplace accidents, identifying and evaluating root causes and proposing preventive measures; * Maintain ongoing communication with the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), fully utilizing its observations, while supporting, training, and assisting it as stipulated in NR-5; * Manage and distribute PPE to employees; * Conduct site visits at companies served by D’ Granel to identify potential hazards and verify correct PPE usage.
