Job Description Responsible for technical support to the Sales area and strong involvement in customer relationships at all stages of Lhoist product sales; development of new business involving products and applications. Main Responsibilities:* Operation in the Livestock, Pelletized Citrus Pulp and Leather industries. * Handling various technical demands related to product quality and application: * Technical visit schedule; * Conducting interlaboratory tests to align analysis methodologies (internal or customer). * Assessing plant technical capabilities to meet customer specifications. * Responding to customer complaints (interface with Lhoist plants). * Translating customer needs into internal process or facility modifications through engagement with manufacturing areas. * Creating an atmosphere of cooperation and trust with our customers (preparing and conducting technical workshops and training – e.g., field days, improvement projects, etc). * Identifying and sharing market/customer information to support more effective strategic planning. * Feeding the Innovation Pipeline with new ideas/opportunities aligned with commercial/business strategy. * Leading new business development projects: * Market mapping. * Coordinating laboratory and pilot tests with research institutions and universities. * Assessing Capex requirements. * Defining partnerships with potential customers and conducting field tests. * Mapping the *ViU* (*value in use*) of our products, identifying cost reduction opportunities (direct or indirect). * Supporting plants on regulatory matters (MAPA, GMP, ANVISA). * Participating in trade events and fairs within target markets. Academic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine or Agricultural Engineering * Preferably specialization or master’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Sanitary Practices in Production Environments or related fields (mandatory for Agricultural Engineering) Technical Knowledge Animal Nutrition:* Diet formulation for different species (cattle, swine, poultry, etc.) * Knowledge of mineral supplements (e.g.: dicalcium phosphate, mineral salt, mineral supplements and concentrates, protected fat). * Evaluation of mineral ingredients and additives in animal feed (interaction of limestone). Animal Health and Welfare:* Biosecurity and implementation of good sanitary practices in animal production environments (disinfection and sanitation). * Knowledge of broiler production chain, poultry litter and downtime stages * Understanding of pH and temperature influence on sanitation * Indicators of animal comfort, health and behavior * Viral diseases in poultry farming ️ Practical Skills* Development of nutritional and sanitary protocols * Interpretation of laboratory analyses (mineralogy, nutritional composition) * Ability to conduct field technical visits and training * Technical communication with production, sales teams and customers * Handling non-conformities * Fluency in English Advantages* Previous experience in mineral nutrition (preferably calcium-based) or sanitizing products; * Knowledge of regulations for animal feed products (MAPA); * Experience working in a feed mill.
