Perform basic maintenance of the chainsaw and accessories **Brief Job Description** Cut and prune trees and vegetation using chainsaws for forest harvesting, management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always complying with strict safety (NRs) and environmental regulations, focusing on preparing, fueling, operating, and maintaining the equipment, as well as marking and demarcating work areas and moving timber to minimize accident risks and environmental impacts. 3 \- Main Job Responsibilities Cut and prune trees and vegetation using chainsaws for forest harvesting, management, controlled deforestation, and green area maintenance, always complying with strict safety (NRs) and environmental regulations. Safely and efficiently perform cutting, pruning, limbing, and felling of trees following established techniques and procedures. Prepare, fuel (gasoline and oil), adjust, and perform basic maintenance on the chainsaw and accessories. Identify workplace hazards, implement preventive measures, correctly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and comply with safety-related Regulatory Norms (NRs). Demarcate harvesting areas, classify logs, conduct forest inventories, and prepare soil for planting. Transport trees, logs, and billets, moving them to loading areas. Focus on environmental preservation by following sustainable forest management plans and fire control procedures. Comply with the (GSI) Quality, Safety, Environment, and Health Policy, where applicable. Comply with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality regulations and procedures to ensure safe and hygienic working conditions.
