Perform activities in accordance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct visits and inspect the company’s operational areas to detect, record, and rectify unsafe workplace conditions, as well as reorient and supervise employees’ compliance with safety regulations, correct procedures, and proper use of tools, machinery, and various equipment; * Implement educational initiatives in occupational health and safety to raise awareness among company employees and third-party personnel; * Guide and support, when necessary, accident investigations, prioritizing identification of root causes, as well as developing action plans and corrective or control measures; * Monitor general maintenance activities, ensuring safety in the work environment and appropriate behavior during execution of correct procedures, as well as installation/implementation of new processes—informing oneself or advising on their operation to prevent accidents; * Inspect, perform verification tests on fire protection systems and AVCB (Certificate of Fire Prevention and Control) documents—including renewals—and submit them for external inspection, maintaining them in perfect working condition; * Verify and monitor safety material stock levels, controlling and analyzing their distribution, replacement, or requests for new purchases; * Keep occupational safety documentation up to date to comply with applicable regulations and legislation; * Stay updated on legislation governing occupational safety standards and procedures, as well as emerging best practices; * Prepare the PPP (Previdenciary Occupational Profile), collecting personal data from employees and identifying occupational hazards they are exposed to, then forwarding it to the respective employee; * Conduct onboarding for new employees, informing them about safety regulations and providing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and uniforms; * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, identifying causes and participating in expert assessments; propose corrections regarding workplace conditions, machine/tool arrangement and usage, and procedures; report and document accident-related information for statistical tracking and targeted or collective corrective and preventive actions; * Update the Environmental Risk Prevention Program (PPRA), in compliance with Regulatory Standards, aiming to anticipate and control existing environmental risks within the company; * Gather data for budgeting safety area action plans and projects in coordination with department heads across the company, contributing to achievement of objectives set forth in strategic planning; * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor; * Receive supplier samples and oversee testing of PPEs for procurement of newly launched models in the market; * Support planning and delivery of periodic safety training for employees, as well as onboarding for new employees and third-party personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting employee awareness and understanding; * Advise responsible departments on compliance with occupational safety regulatory standards across the entire company, and monitor internal and external signage systems; * Conduct safety inspections at the factory and field sites, assessing potential unsafe conditions and acts, notifying responsible departments or involved employees, and obtaining signatures—aiming to minimize accident risks and enhance employee awareness and sensitivity; * Conduct periodic inspections of the fire suppression system, verifying hydrant and extinguisher systems and arranging for recharging when necessary, as well as conducting theoretical and practical refresher training for the fire brigade; * Monitor external agency inspections related to occupational safety, clarify questions or concerns, and submit required documentation to competent authorities (e.g., DRT, labor unions); * Conduct periodic safety inspections in tank farm areas, checking for leaks and verifying installations. * Drive the ambulance during emergency responses and assist in administering first aid and handling emergency situations; * Provide technical guidance and training to less-experienced professionals in the field, acting as a catalyst for the development of other team members; * Lead occupational safety projects, researching websites, international agencies, technical literature, and academic publications to enable continuous improvement and support investment decisions; * Demonstrate full mastery in supporting and managing compliance with regulatory standards and occupational hygiene requirements. * Monitor expert assessments and support preparation of challenge reports and recommendations for necessary corrections—ensuring such corrections are implemented correctly, in line with applicable regulations and the actual context in which work was performed; * Perform all job-related activities in strict adherence to the organization’s occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures, and consistently use all mandatory PPE during performance of job duties and departmental tasks.
