Work in industrial system integration, handling machine protocols, industrial networks, and sensors. In addition, possessing software development and programming knowledge to enable communication between operational technology (OT) on the shop floor and corporate IT systems. This professional will directly integrate industrial equipment with supervisory platforms, MES/ERP systems, databases, and IoT solutions, ensuring reliability, performance, and security of industrial data. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Integrate machines, PLCs, sensors, and industrial devices with software systems and corporate platforms * Configure, test, and maintain industrial communication protocols * Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on industrial networks and data flows * Develop or support the development of services, APIs, and middleware for industrial data integration * Collaborate with automation, IT, and process engineering teams * Ensure standardization, traceability, and security of industrial communications * Document integrations, architectures, and data flows between systems * Support Industry 4.0, industrial IoT, and process digitalization projects ### **Technical Requirements** * Experience with industrial protocols, such as: + Modbus (RTU/TCP) + OPC UA / OPC DA + Profinet / Profibus + Ethernet/IP + MQTT (especially for industrial IoT) * Knowledge of industrial networks (topologies, industrial switches, VLAN, TCP/IP) * Experience with industrial sensors (temperature, pressure, level, flow, current, etc.) * Solid understanding of software development and programming, preferably in: + Python, Java, C#, Node.js or C/C++ * Experience integrating via REST APIs and databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) * Knowledge of industrial systems such as SCADA, MES, and ERP Ability to read and interpret technical documentation for industrial equipment * BE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
