Maintenance plan analysis and report preparation The company seeks a Mechanical Engineer based in Manaus. **Responsibilities:** Provide technical supervision support in mechanical engineering. Conduct contract supervision related to cargo handling, personnel transportation, and riverine equipment. Perform technical inspections on barges, vessels, pushboats, as well as mechanical equipment and components. Monitor and analyze maintenance plans. Prepare reports, technical documents, descriptive memoranda, and schedules. Conduct inspections of cargo-handling accessories and develop rigger studies. Review technical documents, standards, and relevant legislation. Provide operational support for cargo transportation and handling during maintenance shutdowns. Conduct technical visits to suppliers and work sites. Previous experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Production Engineer, or Mechanical Systems Engineer may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
