Umicore specializes in developing products and processes based on precious metals such as gold, silver, and platinum. These materials allow our customers to produce fine jewelry pieces, coins, high-purity glass, and industrial catalysts. Umicore also enables the sustainable and responsible supply of these metals by offering closed-loop recycling for our customers. To fully leverage these materials, we cannot stand still. We need to find new ways of working, discover new solutions, and develop new processes. And this is where you come in. **What you will do** * Assist in the production line, separating and preparing materials according to work instructions, aiming at process supply; * Operate machines connected to the production line, according to your area of operation, characterized by low command volume and minimal operational complexity, under full supervision; * Position, load, and collect specific parts or materials, activating the appropriate control devices to operate the machine; * Control the quality of the produced item through visual and/or dimensional inspection, aiming to reduce waste occurrences; * Operate fully from supply to delivery to Shipping; * Operate the integrated system, issuing service orders and reserving materials from the warehouse; * Move finished products using carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment, following production orders and safety procedures; * Participate in machine preparation, following pre-established work routines, to accommodate sequencing changes or perform setups; * Perform simple maintenance and 5S tasks and adjustments as directed by supervisors and according to pre-established work routines, preventing equipment downtime. **Who we are looking for** Completed High School Industrial experience Desirable: Forklift operation, Driver's License (CNH), Overhead crane operation, SAP knowledge, Mechanical drawing reading. **What we offer** Our goal is to lead the way.
