Apply quality tools and continuous improvement We seek a professional to work in the casting/injection area, responsible for analyzing production processes, identifying failures, and implementing continuous improvements, ensuring quality, productivity, and operational safety. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analyze casting defects in injection-molded parts, identify root causes, and propose solutions; * Program injection molding machines and peripheral equipment to release production; * Configure and operate robots (spray and ejector robots), including gripper assembly and program optimization; * Monitor mold thermal behavior using infrared cameras; * Analyze injection curves with electronic equipment, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions; * Diagnose issues in injection cells (machines, molds, and peripherals) and implement corrective and preventive actions; * Plan and execute setups, analyzing indicators such as scrap rate, OEE, and machine downtime; * Operate overhead cranes as required by the process; * Monitor performance indicators and propose improvements; * Apply quality tools (Poka-Yoke, 5S, Kaizen); * Participate in problem analyses (8D) and process development (FMEA/APQP); * Develop equipment and tooling improvements jointly with maintenance and tooling departments; * Deliver operational training; * Record information in systems and control documents; * Comply with safety, environmental, and workplace organization regulations. **Requirements:** * Technical education (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Automation, or related fields); * Experience with die-casting/injection processes; * Knowledge of reading and analyzing process parameters; * Experience with industrial robots and basic programming; * Familiarity with quality tools (5S, Kaizen, FMEA, 8D); * Knowledge of production indicators (OEE, scrap rate); * Desired experience with infrared cameras and injection curve analysis. **Advantages:** * Experience in the automotive sector; * Knowledge of continuous improvement and production process optimization. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Analytical thinking and problem-solving; * Proactivity and sense of urgency; * Teamwork; * Organization and attention to detail.
