Please note: All our job openings are open to persons with disabilities (PcD). WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Verify the body’s destination: wake, cremation, or burial. Arrange for body removal and transfer. Manage the required documentation for removal and transportation. * Complete service-related reports in the system and monitor invoice entries. * Inspect and arrange vehicle loading. Ensure the integrity and satisfaction of internal customers. * Transport the family and request buses when necessary. * Pay fees and deliver required documents for burial at the cemetery. * Replace fluids and maintain vehicle cleanliness. * Receive the deceased and assess the body’s condition to perform antisepsis. Drain and aspirate the body. Remove, treat, and package organs from autopsied bodies. * Perform body preparation and preservation, either simply or using thanatopraxy / embalming techniques. Administer arterial and abdominal fluids. * Dress, apply makeup, and beautify bodies using specific cosmetics; perform facial restorations when necessary. * Organize wakes and ensure ceremonies proceed smoothly. * Supervise routine operations and execution of the cleaning department. Provide guidance and direction as needed for the room where the body will lie in state.
