Negotiation with suppliers and alignment of technical and commercial proposals An engineering and construction management company in Diadema is seeking a Budget Engineer. **Responsibilities:** Prepare budgets for civil works and building installations. Perform quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary discipline projects. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, including BDI (Budgetary Design Index), social charges, and statutory labor laws. Obtain quotations from suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery schedules and commercial terms. Align technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical and commercial proposals. Maintain an updated cost database reflecting current market practices and pricing. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor’s degree required.
