Description
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molds, fixtures, and industrial tools;
* Carry out adjustments, repairs, and assembly of mechanical components;
* Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and dimensional tolerances;
* Operate conventional and/or CNC machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drilling machines;
* Perform dimensional control using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.);
* Identify failures in molds and tools, proposing improvements to increase service life and productivity;
* Support mold try-out and start-up on injection molding machines;
* Perform mold polishing, closing adjustment, and alignment;
* Maintain maintenance records and toolroom organization;
* Comply with safety, quality, environmental standards, and company internal procedures.
**Requirements**
* Completed high school education;
* Technical or vocational training in Toolmaking, Machining Mechanics, Industrial Mechanics, or related fields;
* Experience in maintenance of plastic injection molds;
* Ability to read and interpret mechanical technical drawings;
* Knowledge of conventional machining and metrology;
* Familiarity with CNC machines and hydraulic/pneumatic systems is desirable.
