**Department / Location** Maintenance Production Industrial **Job Objective** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, and electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems at the industrial plant, ensuring operational reliability, safety, and efficiency of Nortène Plásticos Ltda.'s processes. **Main Responsibilities and Duties** Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production machinery (extruders, calenders, scales, and other industrial equipment). Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical, electronic, and mechanical failures in industrial equipment. Adjust, calibrate, and replace mechanical parts, electrical components, and sensors. Conduct functional tests and verification of machines after maintenance. Prepare maintenance reports and record interventions in the internal system. Support the installation and commissioning of new equipment and production lines. Ensure compliance with safety standards, use of PPE, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with production and logistics teams to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. Participate in technical training and continuous improvement initiatives. **Entry Requirements** Technical course in **Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Automation**. Prior experience in industrial electromechanical maintenance. Knowledge of reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams. Ability to interpret technical manuals and equipment data sheets. Teamwork skills, discipline, responsibility, and results-oriented mindset. Availability to work shifts or respond to maintenance emergencies, if required. **Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies** Mechanical maintenance of motors, gearboxes, pumps, and industrial rollers. Electrical and electronic maintenance of panels, inverters, PLCs, and sensors. Fault diagnosis and problem solving. Organization and control of spare parts and tools.
