Communicates with external and internal customers. **DESCRIPTION** --------------- ATS (Amazon Transportation Services) is seeking motivated individuals to help build a world-class logistics process that delivers goods on time and at optimal cost. Our team’s objective is to excel in managing freight execution flowing through our transportation networks, specifically focusing on carrier management, development, quality, and performance. This role requires an ambitious individual. You will represent a critical function across Amazon’s broader transportation operations while we continuously improve service levels, capabilities, and costs for Amazon Brazil Transportation Line Haul. This ensures that promises made to our valued customers are always fulfilled. A transportation operations specialist facilitates information flow among various stakeholders (carriers/hubs/warehouses) and resolves any potential issues affecting customer experience and business continuity. Additionally, you will work externally with FC/Carrier/Carrier Hub relationships, delivery stations, and sort centers—ensuring trucks depart the FC to deliver customer orders as promised. This person addresses any potential issues occurring during the freight lifecycle—from FC departure to customer facility arrival. As a transportation specialist, you must be able to troubleshoot issues promptly by researching and consulting internal tools and making real-time decisions. You must understand requirements/analyze data and identify trends, and drive customer experience without compromising timeliness. Basic logistics knowledge is required, along with clear written and verbal communication skills. This position will support the expansion of a less-than-truckload (LTL) linehaul network. Key job responsibilities * Communicate with external customers (carriers, suppliers) and internal customers (retail, finance, software support, contact centers, delivery stations, sort centers); * Ability to extract data from multiple databases (using Excel, Access, SQL, and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis is a plus; * Develop and/or understand performance metrics to help drive business outcomes; * Must quickly grasp the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions; * Must systematically escalate issues or data/information variances to relevant owners and teams and follow up to ensure resolution; * Work within tight timelines to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying activities performed; * Own line capacity and volume management, including uploading capacity limits into the system; * Handle vehicle scheduling activities. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * Bachelor's degree * Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * Knowledge of SQL and Excel * Advanced English.
