Focus on data quality and routine hygiene tasks **Data Analyst (Brazil\-Focused)** **Location:** Sao Paulo – Hybrid (between 2 AND 3 times on Customer site) **Role Purpose:** Support BTS Brazil with **data cleaning, consistency checks, dashboard updates, and basic automation**, bringing immediate relief to data\-related backlogs and hygiene issues. This is a **hands\-on, execution\-only role**, designed for rapid deliverables — not strategic BI or insight generation. **What You Will Do:** * Execute data cleansing and validation tasks. * Maintain dashboards and reports with accuracy and speed. * Perform Excel\- and BI–based data checks. **(foundry is a GOOD plus)** * Update and maintain KPI tracking and data dictionaries. * Run recurring hygiene routines to ensure system consistency. * Build or adjust simple flows in Power Automate when needed. * Support business teams with basic data clarifications. **Hard Skills Required:** * Excel (advanced: PowerQuery, structured spreadsheets, data cleaning). * Power BI (intermediate: updating visuals, refreshing datasets, fixing errors). * SQL (basic\-to\-intermediate queries for validation). * Power Automate (simple flows, list triggers, approvals). * Understanding of data quality concepts (duplicates, inconsistencies, mappings). * Comfortable diagnosing basic data issues quickly. * Portuguese (strong), English (advanced). **Soft Skills Required:** * Strong attention to detail and quality. * High sense of ownership and accountability. * Ability to work fast and independently. * Structured thinker; methodical with data. * Pragmatic problem solver — no overengineering. * Comfortable with routine and repetitive tasks.
