**Responsibilities and duties:** * Operate cutting machines and equipment, such as shearing machines, punching machines, band saws, and manual plasma cutters; * Perform cuts on metal profiles and sheets according to technical drawings, production orders, and specifications; * Mark, measure, and inspect parts to ensure dimensional accuracy; * Adjust and prepare machines for cutting operations, adhering to technical parameters; * Maintain and keep equipment and the workplace clean; * Comply with safety regulations, use of PPE, and internal procedures; * Support the production department in supplying and organizing cut materials; * Identify and report possible equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. **Requirements and qualifications:** * Proven experience as a Cutting Operator or in similar roles within the metallurgical industry; * Knowledge and hands-on experience operating shearing machines, punching machines, band saws, and manual plasma cutters; * Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of measurement and inspection of parts (tape measure, caliper, square, etc.); * Familiarity with metal cutting processes (profiles and sheets); * Commitment to safety standards and proper use of PPE; * Organizational skills, attention to detail, and responsibility; * Ability to work in a team and follow production instructions.
