Job Summary:
A professional responsible for identifying, inspecting, deboning, cutting, cleaning, and seasoning meats, poultry, and fish, ensuring product quality and workplace hygiene.
Key Highlights:
1. Handling and preparation of meats, poultry, and fish with a focus on quality.
2. Inventory control, portioning, and hygiene in food handling.
3. Application of deboning, cutting, and seasoning techniques to various products.
Identify types of meats, poultry, fish, and others;
Inspect, together with the inventory clerk upon receipt of meats, quality standards, meat types, appearance, and other criteria; reject goods if they fail to meet requirements;
Collect raw samples of meat products and package them appropriately;
Debone, cut, and clean meat pieces using specific techniques and tools to fulfill requests, verifying procedures in the Hygiene Manual / Quality Department;
Season meats, poultry, and fish, separating them into trays/monoblocks with small portions and packaging them appropriately;
Assist in assembling meat orders, managing leftovers, expiration dates, and portioning;
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workplace and tools used in performing duties;
Season, package, and store according to the Hygiene Manual procedures.
