ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYST

Job Summary: Responsible for accounts payable operations, ensuring financial control, adherence to deadlines, and support for cash flow predictability, with emphasis on operational discipline and analytical development. Support for continuous process improvement and internal integration Performs accounts payable operations with quality, organization, and compliance, ensuring financial control, adherence to deadlines, and support for cash flow predictability. Focuses on operational discipline, accuracy of postings and payments, and gradually evolves toward a more analytical, data-driven role within the Irrah Tech Ecosystem. **1\. Accounts Payable Execution** * Verify invoices, bank slips, and bills in the financial system * Perform postings and reconciliations in the ERP * Schedule and execute payments (TED, DOC, PIX, and bank slips) * Monitor due dates and prioritize payments according to cash flow **2\. Control and Reconciliation** * Perform daily bank reconciliation (financial outflows) * Identify and flag financial inconsistencies * Support monthly financial closing * Assist in controlling fixed expenses and provisions **3\. Organization and Processes** * Maintain organization of financial documents * Follow established standards and workflows for accounts payable * Support continuous process improvement * Ensure compliance with financial playbooks **4\. Support and Integration** * Provide financial information support to internal departments (accounting, tax, commercial) * Collaborate with other UNEPs for data submission and validation * Support preparation of financial reports **5\. Technical Development and Advancement** * Develop analytical perspective on financial routines * Support process reviews and validations * Participate in training and capacity-building sessions * Progress toward greater autonomy and delivery quality **Technical Competencies** * Proficiency in basic Excel and the ERP system in use. * Knowledge of accounting, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management. * Understanding of tax legislation, withholding taxes, and service-related taxes. * Basic English proficiency (technical terms). * Corporate-level written and verbal communication skills. **Education / Minimum Experience** * Completed high school. * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields is preferred. * Minimum 2 years of experience in finance.
