




Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to work at the intersection of Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence on the Microsoft Azure platform, building modern data infrastructure for ML and Generative AI solutions. Opportunity to work with diverse technologies We are looking for a professional to work at the intersection of Data Engineering and Artificial Intelligence on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building modern data infrastructure that powers Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions—from data ingestion and transformation to model deployment in production. This hybrid role combines expertise in data architecture with AI solution development using Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and the full Azure data ecosystem. Your Role Will Include: * Architecting and implementing Data Lakehouse solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Delta Lake, and Azure Synapse Analytics * Developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Azure Databricks * Building real-time streaming architectures with Azure Event Hubs, Stream Analytics, and Kafka * Implementing Data Mesh and data governance solutions with Microsoft Purview * Modeling dimensional data and creating data layers (bronze, silver, gold) for analytical and ML consumption * Optimizing query performance and storage/processing costs on the Azure platform * Ensuring data quality using data quality frameworks and automated testing * Designing and implementing Generative AI architectures using Azure OpenAI Service (GPT-4, embeddings, fine-tuning) * Developing end-to-end Machine Learning pipelines with Azure Machine Learning—from feature engineering to production * Building and optimizing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems with Azure AI Search and Azure Cosmos DB * Implementing feature stores and feature engineering pipelines for ML models * Applying MLOps practices for model versioning, monitoring, and governance * Developing APIs and microservices to expose models via Azure Functions and Container Apps * Integrating AI solutions with data pipelines for processing unstructured documents, images, and text. We Expect You To Have: * Solid experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks * Proficiency in advanced SQL, PySpark, and distributed processing frameworks * Knowledge of Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or other open-source table formats * Experience with Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, and streaming architectures * Expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball, Data Vault) and Lakehouse architectures * Experience with Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and NoSQL databases * Proficiency in Python and ML/DL libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) * Proven experience with Azure Machine Learning and Azure OpenAI Service * Solid knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and RAG techniques * Experience with vector databases (Azure AI Search, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma) * Knowledge of Azure AI Services (Document Intelligence, Speech, Vision) * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields * Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering and/or machine learning * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates) * Expertise in DevOps/MLOps practices and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions * Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) * Advanced technical English for documentation and meetings Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves): * Azure certifications: DP-203 (Data Engineer), AI-102 (AI Engineer), DP-100 (Data Scientist), AZ-305 (Solutions Architect) * Databricks certifications (Data Engineer Associate/Professional) * Master’s or PhD in AI/ML or Data Engineering-related fields * Experience with Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or LLM orchestration frameworks * Experience with Microsoft Fabric * Knowledge of dbt (data build tool) for transformations * Contributions to open-source projects or publications in the field You’ll Love Working Here If: * You want the opportunity to learn and work with diverse technologies; * You’re seeking a company offering real growth and career advancement opportunities; * You prefer a light-hearted and relaxed work environment.
