




Job Summary: Professional responsible for monitoring and diagnosing preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment, developing maintenance plans, and managing performance indicators. Key Highlights: 1. Maintenance operations for heavy machinery and equipment. 2. Development of maintenance plans and technical diagnostics. 3. Research and specification of spare parts, including from international suppliers. • Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment (e.g., backhoes, hydraulic excavators, crushers, dredges, muck trucks, asphalt recyclers, etc.); • Conduct technical diagnostics of mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical failures; • Develop maintenance plans, shutdown schedules, and periodic inspections; • Monitor and control maintenance performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, availability, etc.); • Request, research, and specify replacement parts—including from international suppliers—with navigation on foreign technical websites (USA) and consultation of English-language manuals; • Support the technical team (mechanics, electricians, technicians) with instructions, guidance, and technical solutions; • Issue technical reports and failure analysis reports with improvement recommendations; • Participate in management of service contracts with third-party providers, manufacturers, or external workshops; • Analyze technical feasibility of equipment overhauls, replacements, or modifications; • Attend technical, safety, and planning meetings with field teams and leadership; • Conduct site visits to construction fronts or operational bases to monitor field equipment; • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical procedures during maintenance activities. Employment Type: Permanent CLT Benefits: * Meal Allowance * Food Allowance * Transportation Allowance Selection Questions: * Completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (diploma recognized by MEC)? * Proven experience in maintenance, operation, or projects involving heavy equipment (yellow line, crushing, excavation, dredging, etc.)? * Solid knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electromechanical systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical designs? * Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project, etc.)? * Knowledge of technical and regulatory standards (NRs, ABNT, ISO, etc.)? * Intermediate English proficiency for reading technical manuals, international spare parts catalogs, and navigating foreign websites (primarily U.S.-based)? * Willingness to travel, work on-site, and operate under construction-site conditions? * Experience acquiring and specifying replacement parts from international suppliers? * Prior work experience in mining, infrastructure, dredging, or large-scale civil construction projects?
