Job Summary: Assist in food preparation and finishing, following leadership instructions and sanitary regulations, with a focus on quality and daily production standardization. Key Highlights: 1. Collaborate with the team in plating dishes and preparing events #### **About the position:** * Assist in food preparation and finishing according to kitchen leadership instructions, ensuring quality, standardization, and compliance with sanitary regulations in daily production activities. #### **Main responsibilities:** * Assist in food preparation according to technical sheets, portion sizes, and hotel standards. * Support the Head Chef in kitchen operational activities and replace him/her when necessary. * Perform mise en place for the assigned kitchen station, maintaining organization and cleanliness. * Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure its proper maintenance. * Strictly comply with hygiene and food safety standards during food handling and storage. * Assist in monitoring product expiration dates and report replenishment needs. * Collaborate with the team in plating dishes, buffets, events, and room service. * Report any issues or non-conformities to supervisors. #### **Mandatory requirements:** * Completed High School Education #### **Desirable requirements (advantage):** * Courses in Gastronomy, Culinary Techniques, or similar * Experience required for this role: Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience as kitchen helper or assistant, preferably in hospitality or restaurants. * Experience in the sector #### **Benefits:** * Transportation allowance * Salvia (Telemedicine \| Tele\-specialist) * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) * Health insurance plan * Dental insurance plan * Birthday day off * On\-site meals * Discounts on accommodations within the network #### **Work schedule and working hours:** * Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:20 PM * Rotation: 5 days on, 1 day off
