Job Description: * Technical qualifications in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electromechanical, or related fields (aligned with the specific discipline), or Engineering degrees. * Solid experience as a Designer in industrial sectors, preferably in refineries. * Proficiency in CAD (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, E3D), MicroStation, and Revit (as applicable to the discipline). * Knowledge of industrial piping, structural steel, electrical systems, or instrumentation, depending on the discipline. * Ability to read and interpret layout drawings, engineering flow diagrams (PFDs), and single-line diagrams. * Familiarity with standards such as ABNT, NBR, ISO, and ASME is considered an advantage. * Field experience on construction sites is desirable. * Develop and review technical designs for industrial units in the Oil & Gas sector. * Analyze projects, define work methodologies, assist in feasibility studies, estimate material quantities required for the project, determine timelines for design development and activity execution. * Ensure technical compliance, operational efficiency, and safety of designs, adhering to client guidelines and technical standards. * Prepare detailed designs, including all technical specifications, dimensions, materials, components, and other relevant information required for implementation. * Manage KPIs and strategic tools, and produce management reports tracking project progress. * Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of implemented solutions; make adjustments and improvements as necessary to ensure the project meets its original objectives. * Understand company and client requirements, ensuring planning addresses these needs safely and with quality, within budget—whether in the context of construction or design. Prepare detailed documentation, material procurement requisitions for construction, and detailed design deliverables. * Discipline-Specific Details * Electrical: Detailed electrical design (power supply, lighting, lightning protection, grounding). Material specifications. Preparation of technical opinions. Cable sizing and photometric analysis. Integration of the electrical design with other disciplines. Field technical support to construction and installation teams, with agility in resolving field issues while working onsite as part of the Construction Technical Assistance Team (ATO). Experience in commissioning dossier preparation, field surveys, and test supervision. * Instrumentation: Detailed instrumentation design, including typical details and cable cut plans. Focus on industrial plant projects, providing technical support and supervision to installation, commissioning, and assisted start-up teams for Oil & Gas projects. Field surveys, testing, and inspection. Agility in resolving field issues while working onsite as part of the Construction Technical Assistance Team (ATO). * Piping: Prior knowledge of petrochemical processes, piping systems, and pipe supports, covering process flow diagrams (PFDs), layouts, and documentation detailing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process diagrams, engineering flow diagrams (PFDs), and flexibility calculation isometrics. Familiarity with isometrics and piping routing development. Conduct field surveys and provide technical support to construction and installation teams, with agility in resolving field issues related to piping and supports, performing activities onsite as part of the Construction Technical Assistance Team (ATO). Experience with NR-13, both during design and construction phases. * Mechanical: Focus on static and rotating equipment for the Oil & Gas industry. Multidisciplinary perspective for consolidating information during mechanical equipment specification. Review supplier drawings, prepare technical opinions, specify equipment, and analyze engineering flow diagrams (PFDs). Field experience including performance testing, pressure testing of equipment, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and commissioning. Experience with NR-13, both during design and construction phases. Support other disciplines to ensure harmony among disciplines and their deliverables. 2512040202181846956
