.NET Developer

Description

We are seeking a backend developer who serves as a technical reference with strong expertise in architecture, platform evolution, and technical leadership, to work on the development and maintenance of critical, robust, and scalable APIs—integrating legacy systems with modern microservices architectures. We value autonomy, systemic thinking, quality focus, and the use of modern tools (including AI/GitHub Copilot) to accelerate secure deliveries. Key Responsibilities * Technically lead the development and evolution of backend applications in .NET (C\#). * Define standards and best practices (architecture, observability, security, versioning, testing, performance). * Design, build, and optimize REST APIs with a focus on scalability, loose coupling, and high throughput. * Lead architectural and integration decisions between legacy systems and microservices (including transition strategies). * Actively engage in Oracle data modeling and PL/SQL development, supporting performance and governance decisions. * Elevate quality standards through unit testing (xUnit), coverage strategies, and a quality-oriented culture. * Lead code reviews, mentoring, and support for less experienced developers. * Collaborate closely with DevOps (Azure DevOps/Git) on pipelines, quality gates, and automation. * Take technical ownership of projects (planning, risk management, dependencies, business alignment). Mandatory Requirements * \+7 years of solid .NET development experience. * Proficiency in C\#, design patterns, and SOLID principles applied in production code. * Advanced experience with REST APIs (versioning, authentication/authorization, performance, resilience). * Solid experience with Oracle (data modeling, PL/SQL, tuning, and best practices). * Strong hands-on experience with Git and Azure DevOps (workflows, PRs, quality policies). * Extensive practice in automated testing using xUnit and a strong quality culture. * Active use of GitHub Copilot (and practices to ensure the quality/security of generated code). * Consistent experience with microservices and their trade-offs (observability, consistency, integration, versioning). * Real-world experience with Redis and caching strategies. * Practical application of CQRS (where appropriate). * Knowledge of Docker and containerization in CI/CD pipelines. * Experience using Insomnia and API testing/contract best practices. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Jira) in a technical leadership or coordination role.
