Beyond creating spreadsheets, this role involves solving complex problems using Excel, designing reliable models, automating processes, and ensuring information clarity and accuracy. It is a position offering high learning potential, direct support from technical leadership, and ample room for growth. **Your Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Design robust Excel analytical models for financial forecasting, performance analysis, and artistic investment decision support * Structure and maintain Excel-based ETL workflows using Power Query, connecting to external data sources (databases, structured files, operational exports) * Develop VBA automations to standardize processes, reduce rework, and improve reliability * Build operational and executive dashboards using pivot tables, charts, slicers, and usability-focused design * Organize reusable spreadsheet frameworks with clear logic, documentation, and governance * Implement validations, reconciliations, and consistency controls to ensure data integrity * Collaborate with Data, Finance, and Operations teams to translate business needs into practical Excel-based solutions * Gradually enhance the analytical maturity of the team by learning from real-world, increasingly complex challenges **Mandatory Requirements** --------------------------- * Excellent command of advanced Excel in a corporate context * Solid knowledge of Power Query (mandatory), including connections to external databases * Practical experience with VBA for automation * Proficiency in advanced formulas, including: * + INDEX + MATCH (including multiple criteria) + XLOOKUP / VLOOKUP in complex scenarios + SUMIFS / COUNTIFS + Nested IF statements with business rules + Dynamic functions (FILTER, UNIQUE, SORT, etc.) * Analytical ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills * Comfort working with large-scale problems and imperfect data * Technical English for reading and documentation; a basic assessment will be conducted during the interview. **Desirable Differentiators** --------------------------- * Advanced VBA (code structuring, user forms, best practices) * More sophisticated Power Query modeling * Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and cross-referencing * Conceptual familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) * Prior experience handling large or chaotic datasets * Spanish **Expected Competencies** -------------------------- * Logical reasoning and structured thinking * Technical curiosity and willingness to learn * Resilience when tackling large, open-ended problems * Clear communication—even on technical topics * Automation mindset, continuous improvement, and governance orientation **Work Format** ----------------------- * 100% remote * Business hours in Brazil * PJ (individual contractor) engagement * Direct mentorship and support from technical leadership
