




The Environmental Analyst is responsible for leading, monitoring, and implementing sustainable practices and processes involving all environmental systems and subsystems at the resort. The position requires focused work on preserving natural resources, complying with current environmental legislation, and implementing environmental management programs aimed at continuously improving sustainability at the property. This professional will serve as the primary internal reference for environmental matters and must ensure compliance with environmental standards and respect for the environment, safeguarding the integrity of local ecosystems and implementing practices that promote conservation of natural resources. * Implement, lead, and monitor all environmental systems and subsystems of the resort, including waste management, water resources, energy, use of chemicals, effluent control, and pollutant emissions. * + Create, implement, develop, and lead sustainability programs, such as reducing water and energy consumption, selective waste collection, and use of clean technologies. + Develop and execute strategies and practices to minimize the environmental impacts of resort operations, with emphasis on preserving local biodiversity and the natural ecosystem. + Ensure compliance with applicable environmental standards and regulations, both municipal, state, and federal. + Conduct internal audits to monitor compliance with environmental policies and propose improvements. + Prepare periodic reports on the resort’s environmental performance, presenting indicators and results of sustainability programs. + Train and raise awareness among staff regarding good environmental practices and sustainable actions. + Collaborate with other resort departments to integrate environmental actions into operational processes, such as sustainable procurement, services, and events. + Serve as the point of contact for external environmental audits, as well as for regulatory agencies and specialized consultants. + Monitor the environmental impact of resort activities, developing solutions for impact mitigation and conducting environmental impact assessments when necessary. + Track and implement actions to meet the resort’s established environmental goals and commitments, as well as participate in initiatives for environmental certification programs, such as ISO 14001\.
