Ensure the correct receipt of goods, verifying quantities and quality of received items. **Responsibilities and duties** * Prepare the department for goods receipt: prepare pallet allocation areas, check area cleanliness, and commence operations. * Receive goods, prepare receiving areas, and verify shipment documentation (type, batch number, brand, quantity). * Unload trucks; inspect overall packaging condition and seals; select samples and verify compliance with purchase orders and quality standards; measure refrigerated truck trailer temperatures for perishable deliveries—only begin unloading if temperature requirements are met. Collect and deliver shipment documentation to the invoice room for appropriate action. * Assign unloaded products to their designated storage locations; label pallets with batch number, product type, and expiration date; coordinate goods storage.
