You will be part of a dynamic, international organization and will produce high quality products in a safe, clean and flexible work environment.** **Job Description** ------------------- **About the Team:** The new Toolmaker’s role directly impacts the reliability, quality, and availability of devices, tools, and mechanical components used in production. **What you can expect as a Toolmaker:** * Interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications for manufacturing, adjustment, and repair of tools, fixtures, and mechanical components. * Operate conventional machine tools (lathe, milling machine, drill press, and surface/cylindrical grinders) for machining parts. * Perform benchwork activities, including assembly, adjustment, and restoration of fixtures and tooling. * Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators). * Carry out maintenance, adjustments, and corrections on production fixtures. **Your profile as a Toolmaker:** * Prior experience as a toolmaker, mechanical fitter, or similar roles in an industrial environment. * Experience in precision machining and benchwork services. * Experience in manufacturing and adjusting fixtures, jigs, and mechanical components. * Completed technical education in Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or related fields focused on mechanical manufacturing. * Additional training courses in machining or metrology are advantageous. * Technical Drawing Reading and Interpretation (mandatory). * Operation of lathe, milling machine, drill press, and surface/cylindrical grinders. * Metrology and handling of measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, dial indicator).
