Job Summary: Occupational Safety Professional to conduct training, manage PPEs, perform inspections, and engage in accident prevention and environmental management. Key Highlights: 1. Conducting safety training and PPE management. 2. Accident prevention, fire fighting, and CIPA activities. 3. Supervising environmental management, waste handling, and legal compliance. Industry seeks an Occupational Safety Technician in Sorocaba. **Responsibilities:** Conduct occupational safety training, including Safety Orientation (DSS), onboarding, and forklift operations. Fully manage Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), covering distribution, control, inventory maintenance, and periodic stocktaking. Perform daily inspections across operational areas, focusing on risk prevention. Engage in accident and fire prevention and firefighting, and coordinate emergency brigade management. Organize and support the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA). Investigate accidents and authorize work resumption, ensuring issuance of Technical Competency Certificates (APT). Actively participate in internal campaigns promoting health and safety in the workplace. In environmental management, supervise proper control and disposal of Class I and Class II waste. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, such as permits, Waste Transport Manifests (MTR), and Certificates of Waste Manifestation of Interest (CADRI). Support the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and participate in related audits. Previous experience as Occupational Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinator, Risk Analyst, or Safety Supervisor may indicate suitability for some responsibilities of this position.
