Job Summary: We are seeking an Assembly Assistant to support our team of specialized assemblers in preparing, assembling, installing, and testing medium- and high-voltage underground electrical cables. Organize the workplace and ensure safety and hygiene ***Team Overview and Job Responsibilities*** We are looking for an Assembly Assistant to join our team. Based in Sorocaba, SP, reporting to the HV Installation Coordinator, your role will be to assist the team of specialized assemblers in preparing, assembling, installing accessories, and testing de-energized medium- and high-voltage underground electrical cables across Brazil. Activities will be guided by drawings, schematics, and technical specifications, using appropriate tools, equipment, and instruments. Follow work plans and document performed activities in accordance with quality, safety, and environmental technical standards and procedures. Focus areas include: * Prepare de-energized electrical cables and accessories by adjusting, measuring, cutting, scraping, sanding, or applying other processes, using appropriate instruments and tools under the guidance of specialized assemblers, in compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards and procedures. * Install underground electrical cables by routing them through pre-established and prepared locations, splicing their ends using appropriate accessories, and positioning and securing them in designated enclosures. * Carry out preventive, corrective, and/or emergency maintenance as required by external customers. * Organize the workplace/area by selecting, arranging, and verifying conformity of materials, tools, instruments, and safety equipment; replenish components, parts, and other material resources. * Ensure compliance with conservation, cleaning, and hygiene procedures for the workplace/area, machines, and equipment, as well as safety, discipline, and accident prevention procedures.
