Position: History Teacher Location: Colégio Tableau – Sorocaba/SP Contract Type: PJ (MEI) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in History (Mandatory) Experience: Prior experience teaching Fundamental II and High School students preferred Main Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver History lessons to Fundamental II and High School classes. * Present historical processes critically, encouraging analysis of sources and diverse historical actors. * Promote understanding of cultural diversity and the impact of past events on contemporary society. * Develop projects that stimulate historical research and knowledge production. * Continuously assess student performance using varied methodologies. * Participate in pedagogical meetings and school events as required. Expected Competencies and Skills: * **Mastery of subject matter** (World and Brazilian History) and teaching methodologies. * Ability to meaningfully and engagingly connect the past with the present. * Ability to engage and motivate students toward historical inquiry. * Organization, punctuality, and excellence in classroom management. * Teamwork with the pedagogical team and other teachers. Advantages: * Experience preparing students for university entrance exams and ENEM. * Experience using digital technologies and multimedia resources in History teaching. * Knowledge of and interest in Regional History.
