Perform low-complexity user assistance during traffic inspections and mechanical rescue operations by driving and operating the Concessionaire’s vehicles, as requested by the Operations Control Center. Seize or remove animals from the roadway and/or medians using appropriate equipment available in operational vehicles and the Animal Seizure Truck, under direct supervision. Contain and extinguish small fire outbreaks under direct guidance, using dedicated firefighting equipment available in operational vehicles or the Water Tanker Truck. Inspect construction works and services conducted within the right-of-way using an operational vehicle and the Construction and Services Manual available in patrol units, under direct supervision. Escort oversize loads under direct supervision by driving the operational vehicle and reviewing documentation related to such loads. Inspect the company’s right-of-way by patrolling a designated highway segment, identifying ongoing construction or general services, billboards or outdoor signage, requesting presentation of authorization granted by the company for such services and/or construction, approving them if no irregularities are found, or instructing the responsible party to remove or demolish them, escalating to the Supervisor to obtain additional support for process completion. Conduct or assist in low-complexity operations related to assisting pedestrians in hazardous positions, fallen signage from active highway construction sites, removal of fallen highway signage located in high-risk zones, taking appropriate actions. Verify that signage for highway construction, improvement, and maintenance complies with company standards, guided by previously received sketches; escalate to the supervisor to halt any work presenting irregularities or operational risks until the situation is resolved or new instructions are received from the Operations Control Center (OCC). Identify potential deficiencies in signage (regulatory, informational, or warning signs) or on the roadway (potholes, damaged barriers, cleanliness, washing), photograph the location, and submit suggestions or reports to the OCC, which then notifies the responsible departments for analysis and action. Propose improvements regarding signage, infrastructure, drainage, and roadway safety, forwarding proposals to the Supervisor for analysis and approval. Respond to collisions or minor accidents, collecting information from users/victims, witnesses, and highway police to determine probable causes and accident conditions (e.g., potholes, missing signage, speeding, water or oil on the roadway, driver under the influence), recording personal details of drivers and passengers, and vehicle data (license plate, type, tire condition, damages, etc.), documenting damage to company property (metallic guardrails, concrete barriers, signage), and photographing the entire affected area, involved vehicles, and victims. Provide the OCC with information gathered during responses to minor collisions for inclusion in the traffic accident response report, ensuring the official police report also contains identical information. Verify whether the length, height, width, and license plate display of extraordinary loads traveling on the highway comply with the Special Traffic Authorization (STA) issued by competent authorities; approve passage if no irregularities are found, or otherwise detain the load until receiving further instructions from the OCC or obtaining a new STA, under direct supervision. 2512170202551834995
