Job Summary: The professional will perform corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment, aiming for optimal quality and cost minimization. Key Highlights: 1. Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial equipment. 2. Leading shifts and ensuring final product quality. 3. Developing improvements for industrial equipment and processes. Perform corrective, preventive, and predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment, inspecting and assembling mechanical and electrical components. Organize and lead operational shifts to ensure optimal final product quality and cost minimization. Responsible for implementing the preventive maintenance plan (industrial and building-related) and ensuring maximum mechanical and electrical availability of equipment/plants. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical machines and equipment; repair and inspect damaged installations. Develop and implement improvements and solutions for industrial equipment and processes to enhance availability, productivity, and safety. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspecting and assembling mechanical and electrical components of machines and equipment; * Evaluate and execute maintenance plans (preventive and corrective) for equipment used in industrial waste valorization — Class I and Class II — aiming for continuous operational improvement and cost optimization; * Operate electrical tools, electric and MIG welding equipment, oxy-cutting tools; clean and assess integrity and quality of parts; * Maintain workplace organization and cleanliness; * Consult technical manuals, interpret drawings, projects, and catalogs; * Work in accordance with technical standards and procedures, quality, safety requirements, and demonstrate mastery of specific technical knowledge in the field; * Monitor maintenance indicators; * Assess spare parts requirements and submit requests to the Manager; * Perform related tasks upon request from immediate supervisor; * Carry out preventive/corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical machines and equipment installed in production areas, as per scheduled plans and/or service requests; * Perform electrical adjustments, replace damaged components, inspect, construct, and repair electrical wiring and other related activities, as required; * Complete work orders and service requests according to performed services; * Perform tasks at heights exceeding 02 meters where fall hazards exist; * Perform tasks in confined spaces; * Perform tasks in areas storing flammable and combustible waste; * Perform low-voltage (440V) electrical work; * Occasionally perform tasks in medium-voltage areas (23.800V or 23.8kV) and preventive maintenance on switchgear and substations; * Handle chemical substances (oils and greases); * Perform welding and cutting of metal structures; * Maintain mobile equipment such as forklifts and excavators, and operate them if necessary, provided that certification and authorization are held; **Requirements and Qualifications** High school diploma, plus technical training in mechanics, electricity, mechatronics, or related fields (with proven experience in the area) 5 years of maintenance experience.
