




Job Summary: Responsible for serving as the technical reference for the Electronic Initiation System (EIS), planning and executing activities to implement electronic detonators and providing innovative solutions. Pursuit of innovations and trends in electronics for mining Responsible for technical reference regarding the operation, functionality, and application of the Electronic Initiation System (EIS) in Brazil. Plan and execute technical activities at mining sites, quarries, and civil engineering projects in coordination with operations leaders and customer requirements, with the primary objective of implementing electronic detonators, including the following activities: designing blast plans, programming and executing test blasts, sizing resources required to initiate and sustain EIS operations, training system users, ensuring proper application of the system to operations, providing technical and innovative solutions, assisting in incident cases, and preparing technical reports. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Monitor field activities (blast preparation); * Support operations to ensure maximum utilization of productive capacity within required standards for volume, quality, cost, and schedule; * Provide technical assistance to customers by monitoring explosive application and its results, evaluating potential product-related issues, and expediting appropriate actions. Guarantee adequate material supply levels for production by requesting items from the logistics department within required timelines; * Prepare engineering reports; * Contribute to achieving safety targets; * Perform other related duties as required by the department; * Comply with and enforce existing corporate norms, procedures, and policies; * Safeguard equipment, resources, and materials under one's responsibility, as well as the work environment; * Conduct training and certification of personnel on the use of electronic initiation systems; * Ensure proper functioning of products, maintenance, operation, software updates, accident report generation, and train and guide employees on preparing evaluation reports; * Seek market innovations and trends related to electronics, conduct tests and demonstrations, evaluate, implement, and suggest new electronic device technologies; * Guide and support evaluations of blasting operations and area-related cases, continuously seeking improvements in electronic processes. **Requirements and Qualifications** Minimum Education: **Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering** Preferred Education: **Currently pursuing Postgraduate Studies** **Knowledge \| Experience (Mandatory)** Knowledge of blast design software Knowledge of electronic detonator usage Active CREA registration **Working Hours:** 07:00 to 16:48 (Monday to Friday) Willingness to reside and work in Conceição do Mato Dentro/MG With over five decades of presence in Brazil, we are Enaex Brasil, a subsidiary of Enaex S.A., a Chilean company with over 100 years of history and part of the Sigdo Koppers Group.
