We have projects at various stages of the mining cycle, from greenfield to full operations, and employ over 2,100 dedicated professionals throughout Brazil who are committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais mines, part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine, located in Vale do Aço, began operations in 2014 and features a wet processing plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais project started operations, with a dry processing capacity of 1.5 million tons per year, increasing the total capacity of the Baratinha Complex to 4.0 million tons per year. In the municipalities of João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), we will begin operations at the Pedra Branca project in the third quarter of 2025. The project holds reserves of 130 million tons, including 33 million tons of high-grade ore, and is expected to reach full production capacity of 2.0 million tons per year, using exclusively dry processing methods. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará state, near the polymetallic district of Carajás. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and primarily employs local workers. We believe in Brazil’s mining potential and are committed to integrating sustainability into our operations, promoting socioeconomic development in every region where we operate.
