Job Summary: The Budget Engineering intern will provide analytical and operational support, interpreting projects, quoting inputs, and preparing technical proposals and reports. Key Highlights: 1. Development of skills and contribution to a sustainable future The Budget Engineering intern will be responsible for providing analytical and operational support to the SMS Services area. The challenge ranges from technical interpretation of projects to direct contact with the supplier market for quotations of inputs and services. It is a practical opportunity to apply knowledge of materials, drawing interpretation, and cost formation in a highly technically complex environment, supporting the preparation of expert appraisal reports and competitive proposals for the industrial sector. **Responsibilities and Duties** Support the SMS Services Budget team—the area responsible for cost composition for new equipment supply and refurbishments—in the following activities: * Contacting suppliers; * Sending product and service quotations to suppliers and partners; * Reading and interpreting technical drawings; * Preparing material lists according to drawings; * Preparing cost composition spreadsheets; * Preparing technical proposals and expert appraisal reports; * Equipment appraisal. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What we expect from you for this position:** * Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials, Production, Mechatronics, or related fields) from the 4th semester onward; * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); **What would be a plus:** * Technical education; * Prior experience in areas related to the mechanical industry; * Intermediate/advanced English. **Additional Information** Here, we **act** and **innovate**, delivering solutions for the metals industry.
