Job Summary: Responsible for assisting in the preparation of ore samples and supporting simple physical and chemical analyses, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations. Maintain laboratory equipment and report non-conformities Responsible for assisting in the preparation of ore samples submitted by the requesting department, supporting the Laboratory Technician in activities related to simple physical and chemical analyses, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulations. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist in sample receipt, preparing basic materials and solutions as instructed, and performing sample crushing; * Assist in sample preparation; * Conduct moisture tests, sterilizing glassware, equipment, and laboratory utensils; * Assist in particle size analysis and sample pulverization; * Assist in apparent density tests, supporting sample processing and simple analyses under supervision; * Assist in sampling, completing shipping documents and printed spreadsheets, correctly identifying and storing samples and reagents; * Maintain laboratory equipment and report any errors or malfunctions; * Report to the immediate supervisor any situation inconsistent with laboratory activities; * Uphold the company’s image by demonstrating strong customer relationship skills; * Maintain and uphold Quality, Environment, and OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) best practices within the operational area. **Requirements and Qualifications** Required: * Completed or ongoing elementary education. We manage projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to active operations—and employ over 2,100 professionals nationwide, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines—both part of the Baratinha Complex—and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Steel Valley, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet processing plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, with a dry-processing annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons, increasing the Baratinha Complex’s total capacity to 4.0 million tons per year. In João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025\. The project holds 130 million tons of resources, including 33 million tons of high-grade material, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará State—near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers.
