Preparing and transporting materials, tools, and equipment Construction Helper Job Description: Perform auxiliary tasks at construction sites: excavating trenches, backfilling, waterproofing, transporting and/or mixing materials, organizing and cleaning construction sites, assembling and dismantling reinforcement structures, assembling and dismantling scaffolding, assisting in general construction or renovation work. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of construction projects; assist in preparing construction sites; load and unload construction materials; prepare and transport materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of construction site facilities; assist in preparing surfaces for finishing; sand surfaces to be worked on; apply plaster compound; prepare mortar mixtures; transport plaster using wheelbarrows; manually transport materials; apply scratch coat and plaster finish to walls.
