We manage projects at various stages of the mining lifecycle—from greenfield development through to full-scale operations—and employ over 2,100 professionals nationwide, all committed to our mission. Currently, we operate three iron ore mines in Minas Gerais: Baratinha and Mongais Mines, both part of the Baratinha Complex, and Pedra Branca Mine. Our first iron ore operation, Baratinha Mine in the Steel Valley, commenced operations in 2014 and features a wet processing plant with an annual capacity of 2.5 million tons. In 2024, the Mongais Project entered operation, with a dry-processing annual production capacity of 1.5 million tons, increasing the Baratinha Complex’s total annual capacity to 4.0 million tons. In João Monlevade and Itabira (MG), the Pedra Branca Project began operations in the third quarter of 2025. The project holds 130 million tons of resources, of which 33 million tons are high-grade, and is expected to reach full-capacity production of 2.0 million tons per year, exclusively via dry processing. Additionally, Bemisa operates a pilot-scale gold project in Água Azul do Norte, Pará, near the Carajás polymetallic district. Developed from the greenfield stage, this project does not use tailings dams for waste disposal and employs predominantly local workers. We believe in the potential of Brazilian mining and are committed to integrating sustainability into our operations, generating socioeconomic development in every region where we operate.
