**JOB DESCRIPTION:** Universidade da Amazônia (University of Amazonia), located in Belém, Rodovia Augusto Montenegro, No. 4300, Room 108 – Basement, Parque Verde neighborhood, ZIP Code 66\.635\-110, hereby informs all interested parties that applications are open for the selection process aimed at filling faculty positions. **Requirements:** Candidates must possess: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science; A Doctorate, Master’s, or Specialist degree. **Courses:** The courses/disciplines available for faculty selection are as follows: GAME ENGINE 60H MORNING AND EVENING 5TH SEMESTER GAME DEVELOPMENT 60H MORNING AND EVENING 7TH SEMESTER **Selection Process:** 3\.1 Candidates must register via the Peixe 30 mobile application and complete their personal information to apply for the position. 3\.2 Candidates must submit their Lattes Curriculum Vitae and proof of registration in the Peixe 30 application to the email address computacao.parque@unama.br by 4:00 p.m. on January 13, 2026, when the documents will be reviewed and archived in the Institution’s database. 3\.2 The evaluation of the Lattes Curriculum Vitae will be eliminatory, considering the following criteria: a) Academic background; b) Scientific, technological, artistic, or cultural output; c) Professional development; d) Teaching experience. 3\.3 The selection process will further consist of: I) A pedagogical-didactic assessment comprising an expository lecture and submission of a lesson plan in three printed copies, lasting 15 minutes. For this assessment, candidates will receive advance notice of the specific topics covered by the discipline; candidates may select the topic they wish to present, in accordance with Annex II. The pedagogical-didactic assessment is eliminatory. Only candidates meeting the minimum requirements established during the Lattes Curriculum Vitae evaluation will proceed to this stage. II) Presentation order will be determined by arrival time on the day of the presentation; candidates must bring their own laptop for the presentation. III) The interview will take place immediately after the pedagogical-didactic assessment. 3\.4 The selection process will be coordinated by the Academic Directorate of this IES and by the Coordination of the COMPUTER SCIENCE undergraduate program, forming a Faculty Evaluation Committee composed of three (3) members responsible for evaluating and ranking candidates. 3\.5 \- Final results will be officially communicated to all candidates who successfully complete the entire selection process. 4\. Contracting: 4\.1 The selected candidate will be contracted according to their final ranking. 4\.2 There is no obligation to fill all advertised positions; 4\.3 A candidate’s ranking does not guarantee employment nor preclude the initiation of a new selection process, as decided by the General Directorate of the IES. 4\.4 Selected candidates are required to promptly provide all documentation necessary for contracting, as stipulated in the regulations of the institution’s sponsoring body. 5\. Final and Transitional Provisions: 5\.1 Should any invited candidates decline the offer of employment, the Academic Directorate of the IES reserves the right to invite additional candidates ranked subsequently to fill the positions specified in this Notice. 5\.2 Registration in the selection process implies full knowledge of and tacit acceptance of the conditions set forth herein, as well as any specific instructions accompanying this Notice; candidates therefore may not claim ignorance thereof. 5\.3 This Public Selection Process (PSS) Notice shall remain valid for six (6) months from the date of publication of the final results and may be extended for an equal period, subject to the interest and needs of the IES. 5\.4 Unaddressed matters shall be resolved by the committee appointed for the selection process.
