Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams **Job Description:** Will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing test automation to ensure the quality, stability, and performance of Nextpower’s software products. Will work closely with Development, QA Analyst, System Analyst, and Tech Manager teams, participating in the entire product lifecycle—from planning through to deployment. Will play a critical role in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring each release is continuously and efficiently validated, directly contributing to the quality and reliability of the company’s solutions. **Key Responsibilities** ---------------------- * Develop and maintain functional, regression, and API test automation scripts; * Create and maintain automation frameworks focused on reusability, scalability, and coverage; * Support test planning and definition of acceptance criteria together with the QA Analyst and PO Analyst; * Execute automated tests integrated into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions); * Participate in the team’s agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, planning, refinement, review, and retrospective); * Ensure traceability of tests and defects in management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.); * Validate integrations among APIs, microservices, and databases; * Collaborate with the team to diagnose and resolve failures detected in automated tests; * Collaborate with developers and QA analysts to continuously improve quality and testing processes; * Support the technical evolution of the test pipeline by proposing automation and performance improvements. **Required Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree completed in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields; * Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in test automation; * Practical experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent tools; * Solid knowledge of REST API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar); * Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, or equivalent); * Experience with continuous integration and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions); * Knowledge of source code versioning (Git) and best practices for reuse and documentation; * Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) and multidisciplinary collaboration; * Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and results orientation. **Preferred Qualifications** ------------- * Experience in performance and load testing (JMeter, Gatling, K6 or equivalents); * Familiarity with containers and cloud environments (Docker, AWS, Azure); * Knowledge of BDD/TDD (Cucumber, Behave); * Certification in testing (e.g., ISTQB Foundation or Agile Tester); * Intermediate English proficiency.
