



### NR 10 – Basic Course (40h) This training focuses on safety for personnel interacting with low-voltage electrical installations. Introduction to Electrical Safety: Basic concepts and historical background. Risks in Electrical Installations and Services: Electric shock: mechanisms and effects. Electric arcs, burns, and falls. Electromagnetic fields. Electrical Risk Control Measures: De-energization and isolation. Functional, protective, and temporary grounding. Equipotentialization and barriers/enclosures. Protective devices (RCD, SELV, PELV). Brazilian Technical Standards (ABNT) and MTE regulations. Personal Protective Equipment: Collective (CPE) and Individual (PPE). Work Routines and Procedures: Planning, service authorization, and signage. Inspection of work areas and tools. Electrical Installation Documentation. Additional Risks: Working at height, confined spaces, classified areas, and atmospheric conditions. Fire Protection and Extinguishing: Basic concepts, extinguishing methods, and prevention. First Aid: Basic knowledge of injuries, triage, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
