The Dietary Aide attends to patients, serves food and beverages in hospitals, handles food, and prepares juices and coffee, adhering to quality standards.

**Challenges for the Dietary Aide:**
Attending to patients and serving food and beverages in hospitals. Handling food and preparing juices and coffee.
**Responsibilities:**
· Cleaning and organizing meal distribution carts used in patient care services;
· Preparing and preparing fruits/desserts/juices/all liquids, portioning, labeling, and distributing to patients according to diet charts;
· Preparing/assembling snack kits/disposables as required by the Nutrition and Dietetics Service;
· Cleaning utensils used for patient meal distribution and cleaning kitchen area;
· Completing specific spreadsheets for quality and quantity control;
· Collecting and cleaning patient trays, removing waste, and disposing of it in designated areas;
· Implementing diet releases as requested by nursing staff;
· Collecting diet samples and conducting tastings for company and client nutritionists;
· Receiving bread and milk when necessary;
· Serving nighttime meals;
· Verifying diets on meal distribution carts before delivery to patients;
· Serving patients according to predetermined methods and quality standards.
**Compensation:**
